Dubai Chocolate

Fix Chocolat. This is the name of the original creator of the famous pistachio chocolate bar known as Dubai Chocolat. As you can imagine, the brands promoting this chocolate in Europe and the United States (etc...) are copies. Fix Chocolat, created by Sarah Hamouda, a British-Egyptian entrepreneur, has taken her brand of chocolate to a whole new level. I've had the chance to taste most of the range and it's impressive: their caramel buttered salted bredzel bar is close to the real thing, and their chocolate is all meticulously prepared. The Dubai chocolate has seen a boom following the sharing of its release on social networks, and the founding of the company in 2021. However, under no circumstances is 'copying' this chocolate seen as illegal. Brands have every right to copy the recipe, just as they have done for great chocolate inventions that we don't even notice any more! What's more, the term "Dubai Chocolate" could have been protected, but this includes "Dubai", being a geographical location, and "Chocolate", a term which, as you can imagine, is universal and cannot be protected like the name "Macaron".
